Colombia Visa - Temporary (TP 12)
This is issued to the foreigner who wishes to enter the national territory to attend or take part in, with or without an employment contract, academic, scientific, artistic, cultural or sports activities, to be interviewed in a personnel selection process of public or private entities, entrepreneurial training, commercial or entrepreneurial contacts, or for journalism coverage purposes.
One 3x4 cm passport size photograph in JPG format up to 300 KB and documents in PDF format requirement of maximum 3 MB for all documents.
Original signed Cover letter/ Employer letter from Indian Company stating the applicant name, passport details, Purpose and duration of travel, Employment duration along with Inviter in Colombia details. The mentioned letter must be printed on company letter head with stamp and signature of the authorized person.
Fill out the online visa application, electronically following this link:-https://tramitesmre.cancilleria.gov.co/tramites/enlinea/solicitarVisa.xhtml or in person, at the issuing office.
The original passport or travel document should be in good condition, with a validity of atleast 06months from the final date of departure from Colombia and with a minimum of two (2) blank pages.
A clear copy of the first and last pages of the current passport.
A copy of the page of the Passport that has the last entry to or exit from Colombia stamp, if any
Original Letter of invitation of the person or institution inviting and taking the responsibility for the stay in, and exit from, the national territory stating the activity the visa applicant intends to carry out.
In case the inviting party is an individual person in Colombia, an additional document of updated bank statement for last 06 months to be submitted having the sufficient funds.
In case the inviting party is a Institute in Colombia and additional documents of a Certificate from the private or public entity or institution carrying out the personnel selection process, or entrepreneurial training, or journalistic coverage, stating that the foreign applicant is part of the selection process, is part of the training or that he/she will carry out a journalistic coverage.
Clear copy of the exit/return tickets from Colombia.
Financial Supporting Documents: - Updated 06 months personal /Company bank statement with banker attestation on each page. - Last 03 years personal/ company ITR copy – for Employed last 03 months Pay Slip.
The authority in charge of the issuance of visas shall have the power to conduct interviews and request more documentation in the cases it considers it is convenient, whether personally or through an adequate means of communication.
