No country owns Antarctica, so no VISA is required. However a registration is required. Additionally, you will be boarding the ship for cruise to Antarctica from Argentina, so you will need Argentina VISA.

Some countries like Australia, USA, etc. have signed the Antarctic-Environmental Protocol agreement which states that visitors from these countries must request permission to take a trip to Antarctica. So a registration for these Nationals is a must.
