The Imperial Heights resort is located 7 km from the main Almora town just along the main road. The resort is a blend of the traditional Kumaoni and the Colonial architecture and is built of mainly mud, stone and pine logs.
There are 8 imperial rooms out of which four face the Almora valley and offer a breathtaking view. There is a multi-cuisine restaurant which also offers scenic view of the Himalayas.
The resort has an elaborate collection of traditional ethnic Kumaoni artifacts. Also, the flora and fauna of the area is well preserved. One can see the shimmering lights of Almora town at night which is a breathtaking view.
