Hotel Norge first opened in 1885, and since its opening has been an icon and one of Bergen's most prominent hotels. June 29, 2018, the hotel reopened after an extensive total renovation and has now become an iconic and modern hotel and a lively meeting place where the locals meet the international in a vibrant and unique atmosphere.
The architects have drawn much of the inspiration from nature that surrounds the city. The interior therefore consists of high quality, modern Nordic design with many peculiar details. The hotel has 415 new and beautiful hotel rooms with beautiful floor-to-ceiling windows that invite the mountains, the light and the urban environment.
If you want a view room you can book a "view room" towards Lille Lungegårdsvannet, or you can choose a "balcony room" if you want your own balcony.
If you want to indulge in a little extra luxury, you can stay at one of our 7 large and spacious Junior Suites, or choose our Master Suite, The Dolk Suite or our largest suite of over 60 sqm, The Hotel Norway Suite. All suites have a terrace and fantastic views. The Hotel Norge Suite also has a sauna and Jacuzzi on the terrace where you can relax and enjoy the magnificent view of Bergen.
